How to Move From Frustration to Inspiration in Your Business

I know I’m not the only one who has ever felt this way, so today I want to tackle a topic that I hope will help give a little push.

We have all had those days where you just feel stuck in your business. And that’s okay! Like I said, we have all been there, so you are not alone! Don’t forget that!

Here are 5 tips that will help you tackle those stuck feelings and give you a feeling of reassurance in your business.

Number one – be objective

It’s so important to be honest with yourself about where you are in your business and why you’re struggling or feeling stuck, without being judgmental of yourself. It’s so easy to be judgmental and feel guilty, but please get out of that mindset.

Remember, it’s okay to feel some frustration, just don’t be too hard on yourself.

Number two – change your physical state

This is so powerful in getting your mind into a more objective state. Take a walk, go to the gym, play some music, dance, or whatever makes you step out of your mind for a second and breathe. Just do it!

Changing where you physically are or what you are physically doing allows you to get out of your head and into your body instead. This will help you move into action that will help you reach your goals.

Number three – talk your way through being stuck

Reach out to those you trust and love. Take a moment to vent and let some of that frustration go. Taking the time to get those feelings out of your mind and out of your body by talking can really help you see the solution and BOOM! The solution you need appears.

That stuck feeling is a call that you’re about to get to that next level. You need to just push through it and talk to someone you can comfortably express these feelings with. Remember, it is not the time to give up!

Number four – put your focus on serving and inspiring others

This one is huge for me. I do live on Facebook because I want to provide some value and be of service for somebody else. Start by reaching out to your friends and just give them compliments. Whatever brings a smile or some inspiration to others is sure to make you feel good about yourself and suppress that stuck feeling and bring out that muse in you.

Number five – avoid comparing

This is most important. When you start to compare yourself to others, you just add more fuel into that stuck feeling fire that burns inside you. We might see people rank advancing, while we haven’t in a few months, or maybe you see somebody do a live so flawlessly and you can’t help but think how hot of a mess you are.

Every single person goes through a period where they feel frustrated or hopeless in being able to push past it and accomplish your goals. So if you’re going to compare, focus on comparing how far you’ve come in the last month, six months, year, two years, or five years. Give yourself a little credit in the whole process. You worked hard to get where you are and you deserve to be proud of the good.

Be patient with yourself, be persistent, be very self-aware without judging yourself, and be clear about the outcome you want and where you’re going. Know that getting frustrated is part of the growing process…it’s part of being in this business.

This business is not for the faint of heart. That’s why moms do so awesome, because we know what it takes, and we’re not quitters. We don’t give up, we keep pushing, and we find a way. You live in the solution.

Through the frustration fog, your next breakthrough is coming. So my mompreneurs, keep your beautiful heads up and just keep working towards your dreams.
